Tango Espejo is comprised of world-renowned musicians, known both nationally and internationally for their versatility in classical, jazz and tango
music. They made their debut in 2009 for a doctoral research recital that focused on Nuevo Tango composer Astor Piazzolla. Tango Espejo has
mastered Piazzolla’s style to such an extreme, it is as if Piazzolla himself is leading and performing with them!

Tango Espejo performs the compositions of Astor Piazzolla with authenticity and original instrumentation, preserving his unique percussive effects and
musical passion. They are recognized as Piazzolla specialists in the US, and by tango musicians from Buenos Aires.

Tango Espejo is applauded by a wide variety of audiences including aficionados of classical, jazz, tango, and Latin music.  They are well-received at
both classical and jazz festivals & concerts, as well as at folk festivals & special events. Tango Espejo is a favorite at milongas, and includes Classic,
Golden Age, and Nuevo Tangos in their repertoire.
